Bafta have unveiled the talented finalists for the Young Game Designers (YGD) competition.

The 15th year event has 52 finalists aged between 12 and 18 chosen to take part.

The winners will be announced on June 18th on Bafta's YouTube channel.

The awards are divided into two categories - Game Concept Award and Game Making Award.

There are two awards for each category, one for ages 10-14 and another for ages 15-18.

Winners are selected by industry professionals based on creativity and coding skills.

Arabelle, aged 12, is nominated in the 10-14 Game Concept Category with her game 'Reef Revival'.

Daniel has a space-themed game called 'Planet Drop' in the 10-14 Game Making Category.

The winning games will be showcased at various science museums in June.
