Exciting news about the new Harry Potter TV series has been announced.

The iconic Hogwarts Express locomotive, Wightwick Hall, was saved from a scrapyard in 1978 and has been restored by volunteers.

The locomotive will now play a major role in the TV series and is currently in use near Brighton.

The Quainton Railway Society is proud to have Wightwick Hall featured as the famous train in the Harry Potter universe.

The locomotive will soon head to Hogwarts for filming and will be taken care of by the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre team.
