Here are some of the amazing trees on display all over the world.

Let's start close to home, shall we?

This is probably the UK's most famous Christmas tree, located in Trafalgar Square in London.

But did you know that it's actually a gift from the people of Norway?

The tradition began in 1947 as a thank you from the Scandinavian country for Britain's support during World War II.

The tree is decorated in traditional Norwegian fashion, with vertical strings of energy-efficient lights.

From one famous tree to another, this one at the Rockefeller Centre in New York.

For nearly one hundred years, a tree has stood here at Christmas time.

It's a tradition that began in 1931, when workers there decided to put their money together to buy a Christmas tree.

The dazzling display features more than 50,000 multicoloured lights and the star at the top contains 3 MILLION sparking Swarovski crystals across 70 triangular spikes!

This picture shows the Christmas tree at Manger Square, in Bethlehem.

It stands in front of the Church of the Nativity, one of the oldest working churches in existence today, and is located on the spot believed to be the birthplace of Jesus.

The Church is one of the most sacred Christian sites in the world and is a popular places for Christmastime pilgrimages.

This illuminated Christmas tree lives outside Prague's iconic Tyn Church, in the city's Old Town Square.

If the tower behind it looks familiar, that's because legend has it that the church was an inspiration for Walt Disney and the Sleeping Beauty Castle.

The 22 metre tree is placed in the middle of Prague's most popular Christmas markets, where plenty of festive treats and handmade gifts can be found.

The lights on the tree are switched on at 4:30pm every day during the festive period.

This giant tree is located inside one of Paris' most famous department stores, Galeries Lafayette.

It's around 16 metres tall and extends all the way up into the famous dome.

The design changes every year, with 2025's made out of an incredible 560 KILOGRAMS of ribbons.

Every 30 minutes the lights on the tree go out and a sound and light show begins and, as if by magic, the Christmas trees come to life!

Christmas trees can also be found in the most unusual of places!

Check out this floating tree in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

It's at Botafogo beach, with the city's famous Sugar Loaf mountain and Christ the Redeemer statue in the background.

The structure, which is 80 meters high, features more than 2.3 million LED lights.

It is installed around 100 meters from the shoreline - allowing it to be seen from hundreds of metres along the beachfront.

If you head to the Highlands of Scotland, you might be lucky enough to spot this sustainable tree.

Build on the harbour-side in the fishing village of Ullapool, the 30ft tree is made using 340 creels used for catching shellfish such as crabs and prawns.

To top off the nautical-themed tree is a special illuminated crab-shaped tree topper.

This tree has become an annual tradition in Ullapool, since it was first constructed in 2016.

And finally, it's definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the White House, the official residence of the US President.

This year's theme is 'Home Is Where the Heart Is'.

It took 1,500 volunteers working for one week to install the decorations.

According to the White House, this year's dazzling display features more than 50 Christmas trees.

Over 200 metres of garland were used, as well as 7,620 metres of ribbon - and 10,000 butterflies fill the halls.
