The famous Bayeux Tapestry, illustrating the Battle Of Hastings of 1066, will return to the UK after more than 900 years.
It will be loaned to the British Museum from France as part of an agreement between the two governments.

In exchange, the British Museum will loan items to France, including Anglo-Saxon artefacts discovered at Sutton Hoo.
Culture secretary Lisa Nandy expressed her delight at the return of the iconic artwork, describing it as a treasured piece of British history.

The 70-metre-long tapestry depicts William The Conqueror's victory over Harold Godwinson, marking the Norman conquest of England.
The tapestry, believed to have been made in England in the 11th century, has been displayed across France and will now be exhibited at the British Museum.
